Before I started this blog, I had never really been a big traveler. Sure, I had been on a few domestic trips here and there but nothing major.
Growing up in Chicago, my normal 9-to-5 work week became a little draining. One day I was sitting in the green break room at work and all I could think was, “can somebody get me out of here?”
Right then, I decided I needed to make a change and take my standard two-weeks-a-year vacation to the next level.
Since then I’ve been traveling to new and exciting places, broadening my worldview one trip at a time.
And I’m so glad I did. Traveling has changed my life. It gives me the chance to experience other cultures and meet amazing people along the way.
As a result, I’ve started It’s in the Green Room to inspire and share some of my adventures and meet even more amazing people.
The Green Room is all about the nervous anticipation that comes with trying something new, waiting to be called out, or just putting yourself out on a limb.
I’m glad that you stopped by and hope that you’ll stay for a while.
